Our pre-service program is designed to emphasize laboratory skills and management skills through hands-on training. The training you take will prepare you for practical experience in a real-world work setting, where you can put your learned skills to practice.
Technical Skills
Diagnostic Microbiology
This course is intended as part of the training of medical laboratory graduates to enable them to work in medical labs. In this course the attendees will be introduced to the diagnosis of medically important Microbiological agents and their management in the medical laboratories and other health care organizations, focusing on the fields of Bacteriology and including medically important viruses and fungal agents. In addition to exposing the participants to knowledge-building and skill-developing experiences.
Routine & Microscopy
This course is intended as part of the training of medical laboratory graduates to enable them to work in medical labs. In this course the attendees will be introduced to urine, Stool and seminal fluid samples, and their testing & management in the medical laboratories and other health care organizations, focusing on the practical aspects. In addition to exposing the participants to knowledge-building and skill-developing experiences.
Clinical Biochemistry
This course is intended as part of the training of medical laboratory graduates to enable them to work in medical labs. In this course the attendees will be introduced to medically important concepts related to Lab Biochemistry including practical & technical subjects, as well as the managerial issues in relation to this subject. In addition to exposing the participants to knowledge-building and skill-developing experiences.
Clinical Immunology
This course is intended as part of the training of medical laboratory graduates to enable them to work in medical labs. In this course the attendees will be introduced to medically important concepts related to Lab Immunology including practical & technical subjects, as well as the managerial issues in relation to this subject. In addition to exposing the participants to knowledge-building and skill-developing experiences.
Hematology & Coagulation
This course is intended as part of the training of medical laboratory graduates to enable them to work in medical labs. In this course the attendees will be introduced to the various functions in the Hematology & Coagulation Laboratory, focusing on the Norms in addition to specific benign pathological entities. As well as exposing the participants to knowledge-building and skill-developing experiences.
Lab Specialty Testing
This course is intended as part of the training of medical laboratory graduates to enable them to work in medical labs. In this course the attendees will be introduced to a number of high-end tests not normally found within a routine lab. The sections covered are Molecular, Cytogenetics, MDD and Histopathology. In addition to exposing the participants to knowledge-building and skill-developing experiences.
Lab General
This course is intended as part of the training of medical laboratory graduates to enable them to work in medical labs. In this course the attendees will be introduced to three main phases of lab workflow, which are pre, analytical & post- analytical phases with special emphasis on specimen collection, Processing, and correlation of results, in all areas of laboratory science. Attendees will learn the application of basic techniques and instrumentation used in all areas of the medical laboratory. In addition to exposing the participants to knowledge-building and skill-developing experiences.

Career Support Skills
This course equips participants with essential career support skills. Learn to effectively use “I” messages for assertive communication, enhance body language and presentation skills. As well as exposing the participants to knowledge-building, skill-developing experiences.
